Overview
Children with Disabilities Social Worker – North Somerset Council.
North Somerset | Hybrid Working. £38.00 per hour (Negotiable up to £40.00 per hour LTD/Umbrella).
Full-Time | Contract until the end of the year.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with families of children with disabilities, undertaking assessments, developing and reviewing care plans, and coordinating support to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with Family Support Workers and Direct Payments (DP) Workers to ensure children and their families receive the services they need while promoting positive outcomes and safeguarding wellbeing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months' UK experience working as a registered Social Worker.
- Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Ability to provide 3 years of employment references.
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- Hybrid Working
- 3 days per week based in the office.
- 2 days per week working remotely.
- Own vehicle required for local home and site visits.
