Children & Families Social Worker – Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire (County-wide).
Hybrid working. £40.00 per hour Umbrella / £31.81 per hour PAYE.
Full-time, ASAP start.
Initial contract until October.
Hoop Social Work is recruiting an experienced Children & Families Social Worker to join Wiltshire Council on a full-time agency contract.
This role supports safeguarding and improving outcomes for children, young people and their families across Wiltshire in a collaborative Children & Families team.
Hybrid working is available, with up to 50% of administrative time able to be completed remotely.
- Office-based work can be undertaken from one or more of the following locations:
- County Hall, Trowbridge
- Bourne Hill, Salisbury
- Monkton Park, Chippenham
Responsibilities
Provide social work services to children, young people and families; contribute to safeguarding planning and outcomes; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support families; maintain caseload in line with local policy and professional standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of UK experience working as a registered Social Worker
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Current registration with Social Work England
- An Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
- Ability to provide 3 years of employment references
- A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
