Welsh‑Medium ALN Teaching Assistant

Locations: Swansea | Neath | Port Talbot

Pay: £92.56 - £100.00 per day

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Your Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ALN in Welsh‑medium settings
  • Support teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons through Welsh
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Monitor and record pupil progress to support learning outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written) – essential
  • Experience working with children (education or care settings)
  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications (desirable, not essential)
