Overview
KS2 Welsh Medium Teacher role.
Part-time: 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday), 8:30–3:30.
Location: Waunarlwydd area, YGG Y Login Fach, Swansea/Neath/Port Talbot and surrounding areas.
Enhanced rate of £180 per day.
Location and rate details are provided for planning purposes. This role is with Hoop Education and focuses on Welsh-medium primary education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh.
- Support pupils’ learning in line with the national curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Uphold school policies and contribute to the school’s ethos.
- Adapt to different school settings with confidence and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
- Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written).
- Registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Experience in a Primary School setting.
- Passion for education and Welsh language development.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
