KS2 Welsh Teacher - Waunarlwydd, Swansea

Overview

KS2 Welsh Medium Teacher role.

Part-time: 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday), 8:30–3:30.

Location: Waunarlwydd area, YGG Y Login Fach, Swansea/Neath/Port Talbot and surrounding areas.

Enhanced rate of £180 per day.

Location and rate details are provided for planning purposes. This role is with Hoop Education and focuses on Welsh-medium primary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh.
• Support pupils’ learning in line with the national curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Uphold school policies and contribute to the school’s ethos.
• Adapt to different school settings with confidence and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
• Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written).
• Registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Experience in a Primary School setting.
• Passion for education and Welsh language development.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
