Overview
Flexible working hours / Part time work available in Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant.
Can work around your home life/other jobs/studies to get the best fit for you — mornings, afternoons, full days, after school clubs, etc.
Location: Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot | Pay: £88.92/day | Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm for a full day booking. Half day am/pm bookings available.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ALN
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
- Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
- Help prepare learning materials and support classroom organisation
- Monitor and record student progress to inform teaching strategies
- Collaborate with staff to ensure effective support for all learners
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or care settings
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (desirable, not essential)
