Hoop Education is looking for dependable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges across Carmarthen and surrounding areas during exam periods. This role is essential in ensuring exams are conducted in accordance with awarding body regulations, providing a calm, fair, and secure environment for all candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms, including seating layouts, notices, and required materials
- Maintain proper exam conditions throughout each session
- Distribute and collect exam papers and related materials
- Supervise candidates to ensure compliance with exam regulations and prevent malpractice
- Respond to candidate queries, escalating any issues to the Lead Invigilator where necessary
- Escort candidates as required
- Handle incidents or irregularities calmly and in line with procedures
- Accurately complete documentation and report concerns to the examinations officer
- Assist with the secure handling and return of exam materials after each session
Skills and Experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

- Ability to manage groups of students in a quiet and controlled environment

- Previous experience is beneficial but not required, as full training will be provided

Requirements
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS (or hold a current DBS)

- Flexible, with shifts offered on a day-to-day or sessional basis
