- What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Ensure pupils remain engaged with the work provided
- Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff
- Support pupils throughout the school day
- Communicate clearly with pupils and staff
You could be supervising lessons across a range of subjects including: English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, ICT, Art, Music, DT, Welsh, RE & PSHE.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Registered with the EWC (or willing to register)
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education
Welsh speakers are highly desirable but not essential.
