Your Role

  • Support teachers and pupils within secondary school classrooms
  • Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities
  • Support pupils’ learning, confidence, and engagement
  • Promote a positive, calm, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Work alongside teachers and other support staff
  • Support pupil learning, well-being, and development
  • You may be supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including those requiring additional learning or behavioural support
  • What You’ll Need
  • At least 3 months of experience working with children or vulnerable adults (references required)
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to register)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude and passion for supporting young people
