Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking to make a real difference in Welsh‑medium education?
Hoop Education is working closely with schools across South Wales to recruit passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Your Role
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ALN in Welsh‑medium settings
- Support teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons through Welsh
- Help create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Monitor and record pupil progress to support learning outcomes
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
We’re Looking For
- Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written) – essential
- Experience working with children (education or care settings)
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (desirable, not essential)
