South Family Centre, Llanrwst – Competitive rate (please enquire) – 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday – Initial 12‑week assignment (immediate start). Some evening, weekend and Bank Holiday working required.

About the roleYou will provide advice, guidance and support to parents and families on both an individual and group work basis, using a holistic, multi‑agency approach. The role focuses on enabling families to access opportunities and support that improve outcomes for children and young people. You will work collaboratively across public services, local authority departments and the third sector to deliver coordinated, preventative support for families who do not require specialist statutory intervention.
Key responsibilities- Deliver individual and group‑based support to families
- Work within a multi‑agency framework to support early intervention
- Promote the Family Centre as a single point of access
- Engage with the local community to improve reach and accessibility
- Support preventative service delivery across partner agencies
- Contribute to improving outcomes for children and young people
- Level 3 qualification (e.g. Working with Parents or equivalent)
- Good standard of education (minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent)
- Experience working with children, young people and families
- Understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Confident use of IT systems and software
The role is based at South Family Centre, Llanrwst, with an expectation of flexibility to meet service needs, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
