A Qualified Social Worker is required on a part-time basis, working 3 days a week for Cardiff Social Services, Kinship assessment team. This role offers hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing Connected Person Assessments and Special Guardianship assessments, including conversion assessments for carers pursuing a Special Guardianship.
- Assessing potential kinship arrangements and current foster carers, explaining the benefits and differences of becoming a Kinship foster carer or a Special Guardian.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months UK experience as a registered social worker
- Relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or willingness to apply
- 3 years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
