Adults Social Worker – Integrated Network Team Bridgend County Borough Council (Pyle) Β£35.32 per hour Umbrella company Initial 3-Month Contract | Full-Time Preferred Hybrid Working – 2 Days Home / 3 Days On Site Hoop Social Work are currently recruiting for experienced Adults Social Workers to join Bridgend County Borough Council's Integrated Network Teams on an initial 3-month contract. Opportunities are available within both the East Network Team and West Network Team, offering the chance to work as part of a highly regarded multi-disciplinary service supporting adults within their local communities. While candidates with adults' social work experience are preferred, applications will also be considered from experienced Children's Social Workers who are interested in developing a long-term career within Adult Services and would be open to considering future permanent opportunities within the authority. The Role You will be working with adults aged 18+ who may be experiencing frailty, long-term health conditions, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health or emotional wellbeing needs. Responsibilities will include: Managing a varied community-based caseload Completing strengths-based assessments and care planning Care coordination and safeguarding responsibilities Supporting adults to maximise independence and wellbeing Multi-agency partnership working Undertaking regular home visits across the locality This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative integrated service where collaborative working is at the heart of practice. About the Team You will join a well-established Integrated Network Team made up of professionals. The team works closely alongside GPs, Primary Care Networks, community health services and Third Sector organisations to deliver person-centred support to local residents. What We're Looking For Qualified Social Worker with relevant post-qualifying experience Registration with Social Care Wales (or Social Work England) Experience completing assessments, care planning and care coordinationConfidence working within a multi-disciplinary team environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle The Offer Up to Β£35.32 per hour (dependent on experience) Initial 3-month contract Full-time preferred, with part-time applications considered Hybrid working arrangement (2 days home working / 3 days office and community-based) Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to gain experience within one of Wales' leading integrated services To Apply for This Role, You Will Need A minimum of 6 months' experience working in the UK as a registered Social Worker A relevant Social Work qualification Registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one 3 years of satisfactory references Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Benefits of Working with Hoop Social Work 20 years' experience within the Social Work market Local specialist agency based in Cardiff Welsh-speaking consultant available throughout your job search PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available – you choose Dedicated consultant and support team Twice-weekly payroll Access to opportunities across every Local Authority in South
