We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to work in our Children & Families Team in Stroud, where the candidate will hold a caseload of approximately 18 children, including CIN, CP & CIC cases with some court work. The role requires providing evidence‑based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact. It is essential to manage a flexible workforce, allowing some home working where appropriate, while meeting the needs of the team, children, and families. The candidate will receive a laptop and smartphone, with the expectation of office presence three days per week, and all children are to be seen face‑to‑face.

Qualifications

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales or the appropriate professional body
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for DBS
  • Minimum of three years of referencing
  • Valid driving licence with access to a car
