Pay - £37,000 - £39,000
Hoop Social Work are recruiting a Supervising Social Worker for a respected independent fostering agency in North Wales.
You’ll work 4 days a week and be paid for 5. No catch. They’re a proud 4-day week company and they mean it.
The role
- Home-based, covering North Wales (with the odd family just over the border)
- Supervise and support a caseload of up to 12 foster families
- Recruit and assess new foster carers using a therapeutic assessment model
- Present assessments to Fostering Panel
- Support children in placement and attend LAC, planning and matching meetings
- Help deliver carer training and get involved in recruitment events
- Join a shared out-of-hours rota (calls are rare thanks to high placement stability)

- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Working knowledge of PACE and therapeutic parenting
- Full UK driving licence and own car, insured for business use
- Flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends
- Welsh speaker a bonus, not essential
- Registration with Social Care Wales
