Social Worker required to cover maternity leave, in Support4Families. Support4Families is part of Cardiff’s early help and prevention team. The Support 4 Families Team are essential in helping families get the right help at the right time. That’s why we are developing our early intervention and prevention services to make sure families can access a range of services and tiered support to prevent the need for statutory social work intervention.
You will carry out proportionate assessments, devise family plans with person-centred planning and with a focus on your case management skills working actively with all partners to identify and meet individuals' support needs. You will be delivering direct interventions with families and using initiative and flexibility to be creative with work. Our supportive teams will actively encourage you to develop your professional skills with access to regular support, supervision and training.
