Overview

Individual desk or team based: Team based.

Reporting to: Director of Education.

Working conditions: Cardiff or Swansea / Hybrid.

As a Recruitment Resourcer, specialising in Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruitment efforts by identifying, engaging, and screening qualified candidates for various job openings.

Your primary responsibility will be to source and attract top talent through various channels, ensuring a strong pipeline of candidates for our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Candidate Generation: Utilising communication and interviewing skills to register and interview candidates, understanding their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
  • Candidate

Registration: Contact and register potential candidates for new roles, conducting thorough interviews and assessments to match their skills and experience with suitable opportunities.

  • Approaching candidates: Engage with active candidates on our database, keeping them informed about relevant job opportunities and assessing their suitability.
  • Job Advertising: Write and post basic job advertisements on various job boards, the Hoop website, and social media channels.
  • Candidate Sourcing and

Search: Use advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches on job boards and Linked In, to source qualified candidates for specific roles.

  • Application Review and Candidate Declining: Review CVs and applications to assess suitability and promptly decline unsuitable applicants.

Readiness: Ensure candidates are prepared for work by completing required compliance documents, conducting Right to Work (RTW) checks, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

  • Reference Checking: Conduct thorough reference checks for candidates to verify their experience and suitability.
  • Competent on Basics of Vincere: Utilise our ATS (Vincere) to add candidates, clients, and contacts, use the scheduler, and perform searches within the database.
  • Target Achievement: Work towards individual weekly and monthly targets (e. g., RTW checks, perm placements, new temp workers, CVs sent).

Services: Provide professional and responsive customer service by answering and managing incoming calls, managing expectations, and addressing inquiries promptly and courteously.

  • Relationship Building: Foster professional relationships with candidates and clients, maintaining regular communication to understand needs.
  • Candidate Communication: Communicate interview details, confirm availability, and ensure smooth communication throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with candidates, colleagues, and clients.
  • Active listening to understand candidate preferences and client requirements.
  • Proficiency in using various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, and professional networking platforms.
  • Building a strong candidate pipeline by proactively engaging with potential candidates.
  • Evaluating CVs and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conducting phone screenings and preliminary interviews to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit.
  • Developing a clear understanding of job descriptions and client requirements to match candidates effectively.
  • Time management and prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple job openings.
  • Efficiently managing candidate communication and documentation.
  • Accurately recording candidate information and maintaining a comprehensive database.
  • Handling sensitive candidate information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Following ethical practices in candidate interactions and data management.
