Your Role:
- Manage classrooms in the teacher’s absence
- Follow lesson plans and ensure work is completed
- Promote a positive and focused learning environment
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Work alongside teaching assistants
- Support student learning and well‑being
- Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
- Cover a variety of subject lessons, including: English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, PE, ICT, Art, Music, Design & Technology, Welsh, Religious Education, and PSHE
What You’ll Need:
- At least 3 months of experience working with children or vulnerable adults (references required)
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to register)
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- A positive attitude and passion for supporting young learners
