Location: Llantrisant | Salary: Circa £48,000 | Contract: Six‑month fixed‑term contract | Hours: Full‑time, Monday to Friday, site‑based | Start: ASAP

We’re recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to join a well‑established manufacturing organisation in Llantrisant.
This is a visible, influential role offering the opportunity to work closely with the Site Leadership Team, support managers through complex people matters and make a genuine impact across the site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established HR Business Partner or an ambitious, experienced HR Advisor ready to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees across the site.
- Work closely with the permanent HR Advisor, providing day‑to‑day guidance and support.
- Take ownership of a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management.
- Proactively contribute to Site Leadership Team meetings and influence operational decision‑making.
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice that balances business priorities with positive people outcomes.
- Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including staff forums, newsletters and wider site activities.
- Build strong relationships across the workforce and maintain a visible, approachable HR presence.
- Produce meaningful HR reports and track information to support business objectives.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation remain accurate, compliant and up‑to‑date.
Requirements
- Strong operational HR experience at HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.
- Confidence managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with managers and senior stakeholders.
- A practical, resilient and solutions‑focused approach.
- Experience within manufacturing or another fast‑paced, operational environment would be highly advantageous.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Availability to start at short notice.
