This role is within the Fostering Service in the Support Hub and involves supporting the team of dedicated Social Workers, ensuring effective day-to-day functioning of the Service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of committed Social Workers.
- Respond to day-to-day issues and provide advice, guidance and management oversight to team members as needed.
- Participate in a management duty rota (one day per week).
- Work closely with the friendly management team to ensure effective functioning of the Fostering Service.
Qualifications
- Relevant Social Work qualification.
- Registration with Social Care Wales.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the updated service or willingness to apply.
- Three years’ relevant experience.
- Full driving licence with access to a car.
