Adult Social Worker - Ceredigion Council - Planned Care Team - supported with a backlog of reviews
Location: Aberaeron - Penmorfa Working pattern: Hybrid Hours: Ideally 37 hours per week Rate: £30.50 PAYE / £39.35 Umbrella per hour Contract: Long-term, initially until April 2027
We’re looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join Ceredigion Council’s friendly and supportive Adult Social Care team based at Penmorfa in Aberaeron.
This is a great opportunity to join a fully staffed and settled team where the need is simply for some additional capacity due to an increase in workload and a backlog of reviews.
You’ll primarily be working with older adults, reviewing Care and Support Plans and ensuring people continue to receive the right support to meet their needs. You’ll also undertake the usual associated Adult Social Work duties, including assessments, reviews, care planning and working alongside families, carers and other professionals.

- £30.50 per hour PAYE / £39.35 per hour Umbrella
- Ideally 37 hours per week
- Hybrid working, with time required onsite at Penmorfa, Aberaeron
- Long-term contract until April 2027

What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
