Hoop Education has recently started working with new partner schools in and around Llanidloes, and we're looking for enthusiastic secondary teachers to join our growing network.
We welcome teachers across all secondary subjects and would particularly love to hear from maths specialists and teachers with a background in delivering STEM subjects.
This is an opportunity to bring your subject knowledge, classroom experience and enthusiasm to schools in your local area, supported by the Hoop Education team.
Deliver engaging lessons that support pupils' progress and enthusiasm for learning.
Adapt your teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
Establish a positive classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
Follow school lesson plans and schemes of work, planning and preparing lessons where required.
Assess pupils' understanding and provide constructive feedback in line with the requirements of the placement.
Work closely with colleagues and follow school policies, including safeguarding procedures.
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have recent experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
Are passionate about their subject and supporting young people's learning and development.
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Are adaptable, reliable and committed to delivering high standards of teaching.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
A maths specialism or experience delivering STEM subjects would be particularly welcome, but we encourage secondary teachers from all subject backgrounds to get in touch.
