We are a progressive Traffic Management business (part of the BUKO Group) based in the South of England offering a wide range of traffic management schemes and expertise. We use the latest technology (EVO series Pike system) to help to keep traffic disruption to a minimum, we provide professional and safe Traffic Management systems and we are ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, Achilles, Constructionline, SafeContractor and Acclaim certificated.
Due to the growth of the business, we are looking to recruit a Business Administrator to work in our Somerset depot. You will play an important role liaising with Supervisors, Managers, Clients, Suppliers, Operatives and other team members.
Duties will include:
- General office day to day administration tasks
- Raising Sales invoices, inputting onto customer portals
- Data input on sales / workflow system
- Ordering stock/supplies, reconciling receipts, delivery dockets with purchase orders, processing purchase invoices
- Recording and monitoring holidays and sickness
- Administration of depot equipment ie damage reports, arranging annual inspections/servicing for fire extinguishers, PAT testing
- PPE ordering/stock control
- Issuing and monitoring assets eg. mobile phones, radios/body cameras, depot equipment
- Providing Operational support to the depot
- Processing induction paperwork for new starters
- Dealing with Customer queries and sales requests
- Liaising with other departments i.e. Accounts, Fleet, HR, Recruitment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must have previous invoicing experience
- Desirable to have previous experience processing timesheets
- Minimum of English and Maths GCSE at grades A to C (or equivalent) and be proficient in Excel, Word
- Meticulous attention to detail working with a high level of accuracy
- Organised with the ability to work independently and works well under pressure
- Previous experience of working within accounts would be an advantage
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in dealing with customer and supplier enquiries in a professional manner
- Has a positive, flexible, and can do attitude
- Works well as part of a small operational office team.
This role is based in Lower Weare Somerset, therefore it is necessary for applicants to be located in or around this area. Flexible working is to be agreed.
