We are looking to recruit a Customer Payments Clerk, to join our Finance team on a 12 months Maternity Cover. In this role, you will support the Customer Payments Manager in all aspects of premium collections, credit control, processing customer refunds and reporting. This is a hybrid role - 2 days a week on site at our Southend office.
Responsibilities:
- Processing collection files
- Managing customer refunds
- Handling broker commission
- Acting as the first point of contact for finance related queries
- Supporting credit control activities
- Assisting with month end and internal reporting
Qualifications:
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- A disciplined, organised, and methodical approach
- Ability to handle confidential financial data appropriately
- Previous experience within the insurance or financial services sector - beneficial
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent, including Maths and English
