We are looking for a Communications Co-ordinator to join our growing Marketing team to deliver and maintain our key customer communications.

We work as an extension of our brand partners’ marketing teams; these partners include RAC, Virgin Money, Sainsbury’s Bank and Ageas. The team works together to create market-leading customer communications to drive retention and to ensure customers understand what our policies cover.

You will be an integral part of building these customer-facing communications, deciding what they look like for our customers and getting them approved internally and with brand partners and underwriters. You will be responsible for maintaining a range of customer comms from website content through to customer servicing emails and SMS messages and ensuring they meet the Consumer Duty Principles.

The successful candidate will need to be an excellent team-player as collaboration and organisation is key in the successful delivery of this role. You will be working with internal departments, brand partners and underwriters to ensure all parties have signed off and have copies of the live versions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and creating customer communications through from policy purchase – expiry/ renewal – particularly communications in Magenta and via post
  • Arranging the testing and scoring of key customer communications to determine their readability score and ensure customer understanding
  • Working with our Compliance team to ensure all comms adhere to the Consumer Duty Principles
  • Handling annual comms reviews internally and with brand partners and underwriters, to ensure communications remain up-to-date and compliant

What We Need From You:

  • Good experience in marketing or communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Skilled in fostering relationships with both internal team members and external partners
  • A willingness to learn
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (C- A*) or equivalent to include Mathematics and English
  • A bachelors degree in Marketing or English – desirable
