About us
Hoo Hing are the Oriental Food Specialists in the UK. From our 5-acre distribution centre in Essex, we pick and pack thousands of products and deliver them to Oriental wholesalers, supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and takeaways throughout the UK.
To complement our distribution business, we also operate our own superstores in London, Essex, and Buckinghamshire to cater to customers in London and the Home Counties.
We employ an international workforce of 200 staff and are currently seeking Order Processors to join our team in providing excellent customer service to all our clients.
This is a shift work position, working 5 days a week (average 43.75 hours per week) , based at our head office in Chadwell Heath, Romford, Essex. We are just a 10-minute walk from Chadwell Heath train station on the Elizabeth Line , offering convenient transportation links.
Main Duties
Processing customer orders to ensure they are entered accurately into the company's ERP system.
Communicating with the warehouse department to ensure all orders are picked, packed, and ready for delivery.
Liaising with the transport department, courier, postal, and third-party transport companies to arrange deliveries.
Communicating with customers to keep them updated on the progress of their orders.
Handling telephone, email, Whats App, WeChat, etc. enquiries to maintain excellent customer service.
Performing general clerical and administration duties, including data entry, filing, reception, etc.
Experience and Attributes
Proficiency in speaking Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
Flexibility with overtime and working early/late shifts
Ability to work calmly and with attention to detail under pressure.
Ability to multitask.
Professional telephone manner.
Excellent team player.
Proactive approach to the working environment.
Good time management.
