We are seeking to appoint a reliable, detail conscious and organised administrative assistant to join our existing team of wonderful staff in Learner Reception. We're looking for a genuine team player, with the ability to learn quickly and a keen eye for detail. A kind and empathetic approach and a willingness to go the extra mile for our school community is also a must.
Responsible for dealing with some of the everyday health and wellbeing requirements of our learners, you will need to accurately follow protocol and manage and administer medication and first aid to learners to the highest of standards. You will also be required to liaise with parents, staff and external agencies so a calm and reassuring communication style is essential.
Working as part of a team that includes the administration of Attendance and Reprographics, there may be times where you will be called upon to support other team members. A flexible attitude with a willingness to step in is therefore essential.
No two days are the same in Learner Reception. If you're looking for an administrative role in a fast paced environment which directly impacts our young people and allows you to approach every aspect of your job in a methodical and highly organised way, then this could be the role for you.
Whilst we are ideally looking for a skilled administrator with previous medical or education experience, we are willing to provide necessary first aid training to the right person. We are primarily looking for someone who has an exceptional attention to detail, can learn quickly and who understands the need for accuracy; someone whose own values align with our inclusive culture; someone who understands our core values and respects and embraces the individuality of every member of our school community.
