Job Summary

In a world where most people tend to sleepwalk their way toward buying the same smartphone brand, HONOR is creating a more exciting choice for people who seek out premium tech in the UK and Ireland. We’re growing fast, and now need someone with the creativity, energy, and storytelling skills to help develop our brand in culture. We’re not looking for a regular Social Media Manager. We’re looking for a creator at heart. Someone who imagines distinctive content that makes people feel, and has the drive to turn ideas into scroll-stopping moments.

What You’ll Do

  • Create distinctive content that entertains people and makes them feel happy to spend their limited attention within your story. You’ll create content personally in-house, and also with external creative partners;
  • Be the voice of our thriving online community – reply, provoke, build human connections and create a consistent feeling for our brand;
  • Be the owner of our social media channels – good planning, daily posting, and growing our presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn – being sensitive to the different ways that audiences attend to content across platforms and channels;
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team (and brilliant partners like EE, Virgin Media O2, Vodafone Three, Tesco Mobile, Currys, Argos, and more) to bring new campaigns and bigger creative ideas to life in social media channels;
  • Spot trends early and know how to jump on them while keeping our brand consistent in the way that it brings new ideas and positive feeling into the diverse cultures of our audience;
  • Manage partnerships with individual creators and work directly with them to develop distinctive ideas and stories that our shared audiences will feel for;
  • Track performance (we love data too!) and learn what works to make our content even better, including partnering with our media team to cleverly integrate paid and organic social content within campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

  • You’ve already been a creator in an in-house role or agency role, and maybe for your own social channels or side hustle;
  • Comfortable shooting and editing short-form video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) and leading the creative process with influencers to develop distinctive content;
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with design tools (Photoshop, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Figma and others);
  • A natural storyteller who knows how to make content feel personal, engaging and with copywriting that makes people smile;
  • Appreciates the cultural nuance across diverse audiences – from techie gadget-lovers, to photographers and gamers – and all the way to capturing the attention of your neighbour and your mum;
  • Basic understanding of analytics – what’s working, what’s not, and why;
  • Brings a self-motivated sense of leadership and a strong business mindset, focused on what is needed to drive impact and results for the brand.
