Operations/ Traffic Manager / Resource Planner
Location: London, UK
Hybrid: 3 set days in the office, 2 days working from home

A global B2B marketing agency partnering with the world’s leading tech brands such as AWS, Adobe, Google, SAP, to deliver high-impact events, compelling content, and lead generation through their in-house SDR team.
The Role
They are looking for a highly organised and proactive Traffic Manager / Resource Planner to join their Operations team. You’ll be the engine behind their project delivery – ensuring our teams are fully utilised, projects are resourced effectively, and costs are reconciled accurately.
This role also plays a key part in financial tracking and performance analysis, helping the agency make smarter decisions about where to invest time and talent.
Resource & Workflow Management
Own the agency-wide resource planning process across account management, events, design, data, campaigns and SDR teams.
Maintain and optimise the master schedule of all live and upcoming projects.
Collaborate with Department Leads, client Leads and Account Managers to forecast resource needs and resolve resourcing conflicts.
Lead weekly resourcing meetings and provide visibility on team capacity, utilisation and project status.
Ensure that the team and resources are effectively utilised and wastage is minimised.
Chase internal teams to ensure timely reconciliation of time and costs against projects.
Contribute information for reporting on project budgets, actuals, and profitability.
Support monthly revenue recognition by reporting on project progress and deliverables completed.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and margin tracking.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Produce monthly reports on project performance, resource utilisation, and revenue drawdown.
Analyse conversion rates across projects and identify where resource allocation may be inefficient.
Provide insights to the sales and leadership teams to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
2+ years in a traffic management, resource planning, or operations role within a marketing or events agency.
Experience working within the events sector.
Proven ability to utilise project management / resource planning tools to track project progress, deliverables, and financial metrics.
Strong understanding of project workflows across content and events.
Financial acumen and experience with budget tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable chasing stakeholders and holding teams accountable for deadlines and data.
Nice to Have
Experience with Monday.com project management and/or CRM.
Familiarity with lead generation and SDR workflows.
Advanced Excel or data visualisation skills (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI).
