Job Description
- If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. They are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager who is passionate about uncovering consumer insights and delivering innovative marketing campaigns. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and you will generate strategies that grow market share and the brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- As a Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing campaign for a number of live events. You’ll investigate, test and roll out ideas for building your community, engaging with prospects and cross-promoting products to your target audience. You will be the driver of change in the team and forge the way to a brand-led marketing strategy.
- They expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and marketing trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express their messages creatively.
- You will lead by example within the marketing team and demonstrate success through your campaigns, ideas and positive attitude. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about the “art” and “science” of marketing and will have an abundance of ideas for building effective strategies. He/she must bring a strong arsenal of techniques and methods to promote their products, services and public image.
- You will organise creative campaigns that generate high levels of revenue, qualified sales leads, web traffic and customer engagement.
- This is a full-time position reporting into the Head of Campaign Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
- Analyse how their brand is positioned in the market and develop targeted consumer insights
- Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match
- Oversee the marketing of all products within your brand
- Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action”
- Design, test and implement successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities across your brand
- Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about the brand and drive qualified traffic to the brand website
- Establish performance goals and prepare forecasts alongside the sector manager
- Measure and report performance of all marketing activities (monthly, quarterly and annual), and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, partnerships, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and much more
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
- Maintain and grow the sector database commissioning targeted research and implement re-engagement programmes
- Be in charge of marketing budget and allocate/invest funds wisely
- Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials
- Design and implement social media and PPC strategy to align with business goals
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and production to optimise campaign success and ensure brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in marketing, design tools and applications
- Responsible for managing and supporting a junior member of the marketing team, overseeing the delivery and optimisation of their campaigns to ensure performance targets are consistently met
The ideal candidate
- BSc/BA/MS degree (Russell Group)
- 2-3 years proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive or similar role
- Proven experience as a Brand Manager is desirable
- Thorough understanding of marketing techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
- Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM, marketing automation)
- Results driven with proven leadership skills
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Highly creative with ability to think out of the box
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Solid background in customer acquisition and engagement strategies
- An ability to manage marketing projects end-to-end
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Hands-on experience with HTML and WordPress
- Thorough knowledge of marketing automation technology
- Thorough knowledge of analytical and database tools
