Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is passionate about uncovering consumer insights and delivering innovative marketing campaigns. In a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will generate strategies that grow market share and the brandโ€™s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing campaign for a number of live events, testing ideas to build your community, engaging with prospects, and cross-promoting products to the target audience. You will lead by example within the marketing team and help drive a brand-led marketing strategy. You should stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and marketing trends, have excellent communication skills, and be able to express messages creatively.

The role is full-time and reports into the Head of Campaign Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
  • Analyse brand positioning and develop targeted consumer insights
  • Take brand ownership and define vision, goals and strategies
  • Oversee marketing of all products within the brand
  • Lead creative development and motivate the target audience to take action
  • Design, test and implement marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
  • Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities
  • Develop strategies to drive traffic and awareness to the brand website
  • Establish performance goals and prepare forecasts
  • Measure and report on marketing performance (ROI, KPIs) monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Monitor market trends, consumer markets and competitors to identify opportunities
  • Experiment with organic and paid channels (content, PPC, partnerships, social media, lead generation, copywriting, analytics)
  • Build strategic relationships with industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Maintain and grow the sector database and implement engagement programmes
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate funds wisely
  • Brainstorm new growth strategies and run experiments to measure impact
  • Collaborate with design to produce promotional materials
  • Plan and measure social media and PPC strategies aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and production teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with marketing tools, technologies and trends
  • Support and manage a junior marketing team member to deliver campaigns and meet targets

The ideal candidate

  • BSc/BA/MS degree (Russell Group)
  • 2โ€“3 years experience as a Senior Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager or similar
  • Experience in Events Marketing is desirable
  • Strong understanding of marketing techniques, data analysis and statistics
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies with ownership and accountability
  • Knowledge of strategic planning and marketing best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software (CRM, marketing automation)
  • Results-driven with leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Creativity, commercial awareness and strong communication skills
  • Experience identifying target audiences and creating engaging campaigns
  • Ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and present recommendations to executives
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Hands-on experience with HTML and WordPress
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and analytics tools
