The Role
Are you a proactive and creative Senior / Marketing Executive ready to make a real impact? They are searching for a dynamic individual to lead their on-the-ground marketing efforts across the UK, bringing their exciting new brand to life. You will be at the heart of their events and partnerships strategy, from engaging B2C student activations to high-profile B2B conferences, ensuring the new brand name shows up in the most impactful way possible. Their clients are companies that provide early talent schemes, including apprenticeships, internships, and placements. They help them fill these roles through advertising to their talented, engaged, and diverse student community.
Their Audience
Their audience is young people aged 13-24, comprised of mostly school leavers and university students. Their mission is to inspire those young people to take the first steps in their careers.
Core Responsibilities
- Event Execution & Marketing
Support the delivery of their national B2C events calendar, including Apprenticeship, Freshers & Careers Fairs, and B2B conferences. Manage event logistics: bookings, staffing, sustainable merchandise, on-site setup, and post-event reporting. Represent them at events, engaging with students, partners, and prospects to build brand visibility. Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams internally to ensure all event assets reflect their brand & look amazing.
- Partnerships & Outreach
Build and maintain relationships with universities, student societies, schools/colleges, and youth organisations. Create and deliver virtual events and webinars to build and develop partnerships with universities and schools/colleges. Identify new opportunities for collaboration, sponsorships, student ambassadors, and brand activations.
- Campaign Support & Promotion
Assist in developing pre-, during-, and post-event marketing campaigns to maximise engagement. Help execute on-the-ground strategies to drive platform sign-ups and audience growth. Contribute ideas and content to campaigns that make them stand out as the best in the market.
Experience needed:
- You have 3+ years' experience in events, partnerships, or student marketing, ideally with a youth or early careers focus.
- You are confident and professional when representing a brand in-person.
- You are a confident public speaker with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders.
- You are highly collaborative and able to perform in a remote setting.
- You can execute on-the-ground strategies to drive platform sign-ups and audience growth.
- You have excellent organisational, project management, and presentation skills.
- You have a data-driven mindset with an ability to track performance, analyse data, and optimise for results.
- You are a natural relationship builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are comfortable with frequent travel across the UK for events and activations where necessary.
- Passionate about youth culture, career development, and mission-led brand.
- You are a creative and proactive person.
- You have good communication skills, both written and in-person.
Amazing (but not essential) if...
- Experience working with universities, schools/colleges or student marketing.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Dot Digital, Notion, and HubSpot.
- Background in early careers, recruitment, or startup environments.
Hybrid working
