We arelooking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to joinour friendly school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone whoenjoys working with young people and wants to play an important part increating a safe, positive and welcoming environment for our students.
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help ensure that students enjoy a safe and pleasant lunchtime experience. You will supervise students in the dining hall,around the school site and outdoor areas, encouraging positive behaviour andsupporting students to make the most of their break times. You will also helpmaintain a clean and tidy environment both inside and out through light dutiessuch as clearing tables and litter picking across the school grounds.
What the role involves in a nutshell:
- Supervising students in the dining hall, cafe, pod, corridors andoutdoor areas during lunchtime.
- Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring students feel safe,supported and included.
- Encouraging respectful interactions and helping to maintain a calmand enjoyable atmosphere.
- Supporting students with queries and minor issues, escalatingconcerns when necessary.
- Monitoring student welfare and reporting any safeguarding orbehaviour concerns.
- Helping to keep the school environment clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Working as part of a supportive team to ensure smooth andeffective lunchtime supervision.
- Acting as a positive role model for our students at all times.
