The Peninsula London is pleased to announce that we are seeking a
Chef de Rang to work within our Lobby Restaurant overseeing a team of F&B Attendants and reporting to the Lobby Director.
The Peninsula Hotels are renowned for the Lobby experience, with live music, a luxurious setting, and food and beverage service offering at the highest level; which, our guests have become accustomed to and that is synonymous with our brand.
This position will have a great passion for service and be able to translate this into a special guest experience through a hands-on approach and training a motivated team.

- Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for all activities relating to service within the Lobby and assisting the Lobby Director with the day-to-day management.
- Understand, follow and supervise the sequence of service standards.
- With excellent knowledge of food and beverage items, you will also ensure training of the team and memorable guest experiences.
- Attend any required training and meetings and support with the roster management to allow colleagues to attend activities, training, and meetings.
- General Requirements
- Good knowledge of food and beverage with an emphasis on wines.
- Experience of 1 year or more within the food and beverage department in a luxury hotel.
- Hospitality recognized training certifications/qualifications.
- Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence to guide a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
