HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Business Development & promotion of HK as a destination to B2B Trade & MICE partners
  • Identification of new sources of distribution for the Hong Kong Product
  • Assist managers in preparation of the annual business plan
  • Support the Manager Trade Development in implementing and evaluating co-op campaigns
  • Administration of PartnerNet and Hong Kong Specialist websites including regular updating of content and maintaining membership database
  • Preparation of trade email newsletter including researching content, editing, database management & distribution
  • Maintain and monitor trade marketing performance by providing regular analysis of website statistics, campaign results and traffic generated from URL tracking.
  • Plan and co-ordinate, events, site inspections and familiarisation visits
  • Assist to manage HKTB’s presence at trade shows & represent HKTB at such events
  • Accurately raise purchase orders, log invoices and contracts and check for accuracy against contracts, entering details in internal systems, including expenditure spreadsheets and procurement management system.
  • Assist in managing departmental budget, preparation of monthly and quarterly reports including market intelligence and activities for B2B functions.
  • Answering trade and consumer enquiries and dealing with walk in customers
  • Contribute to achievement of KPIs for the team.
  • Update and maintain the any associated databases
  • Any other reporting required

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A university degree and a minimum of 3 years’ B2B experience, ideally with knowledge of both the leisure and MICE market sectors.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work to deadlines without supervision.
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have a flexible attitude and be able to work on own initiative.
  • Good analytical and numeric skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel overseas when required.

LOCATION:

  • The position is located in ourLondon Office
  • We do not offer moving allowances from other cities
