The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Reporting to the Assistant Project Manager, the Project Officer will assist in the coordination and supervision of the new Facilities Development Project (FDP). His/ Her responsibilities include the following:
- Coordinate with stakeholders on the requirements of the FDP, including aligning with the Facilities Department and the Maintenance Department on the facilities operational needs.
- Monitor the consultants and contractors for the FDP to ensure the works are in full compliance with the statutory and HKSI's requirements, including adherence to the agreed programme, budget, functional requirements and quality standards.
- Carry out site inspections and supervisions on progress, quality, safety and environmental aspects of FDP, testing and commissioning and the handing over of premises to user departments.
- Assist in the preparation of reports to Government bodies.
- Prepare and maintain project records including meeting notes.
- Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants should have a Diploma/ Higher Diploma/ Associate Degree/ Higher Certificate in Architecture / Building Engineering / Civil and Structural Engineering / Electrical and Mechanical Engineering / Building Surveying / Quantity Surveying or other disciplines.
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience in building projects.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer software applications including MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, able to work collaboratively and independently.
- Able to work under pressure.
