As an Apprentice Electromechanical Engineer (LSS) at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will have the exciting opportunity to rotate departments and get exposure to specific Engineering disciplines such as Design, Test, Research and Development, Project or Systems Engineering. This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This apprenticeship is set up for a duration of 5 years with an aimed start date of 3 August 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- A level 6 (integrated degree) BEng Electromechanical engineering; BSc engineering, or another engineering degree that fully aligns to the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours on the apprenticeship.
- Test Solutions: Test Solutions design and execute facility upgrades, test equipment and test setups. This includes safety systems, calibration, test rig automation, measurement & control.
- Test Execution: Test Execution are responsible for the Qualification and Development phase of the Honeywell product lifecycle.
- Systems Engineering: Systems engineering are responsible for system architecture & design, including the generation of requirement specifications and the co-ordination of validation and qualification activities.
- Project Engineering: Project Engineers are the responsible Engineers for a project's Schedule, Cost and technical execution.
- Design Engineering: The Design department is responsible for all aspects of the hardware design, ensuring the product meets the requirements from the customer.
Key Skills And Qualifications
- A levels in 2 STEM related subjects a minimum of grade B
- Business level written and verbal language skills
- An interest in aerospace would be advantageous
- Full and permanent right to work in the UK
