  • As a

Goods In Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring day to day operations are followed through and manage the workload as per the requirement of the business.

Keep all metrics up to date to ensure that KPI’s are in line with business expectations to ensure on time delivery to the customer whilst keeping costs within budget.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure rigorous adherence to standards through regular process audits and provide mentorship to improve team performance.
  • Coach the team to achieve targets, escalate issues, and focus on problem elimination rather than just immediate fixes.
  • Responsively support team members in resolving issues and conduct necessary escalations as required.
  • Manage resource allocation and holiday schedules within policy, while proactively planning to address potential resource gaps.
  • Train team members to the required competence levels and regularly review their development plans to support operational effectiveness.
  • Lead improvement initiatives, foster team identity, and promote continuous performance enhancement through structured activities and regular Kaizen events.

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask plus good communication skills to all levels of the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of leading a team is a must.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Applications and working experience & competence of SAP systems.
  • Good influencing skills and the ability to challenge opinions.
  • Experience of warehouse processes and self motivated / enthusiastic with a flexible approach.
  • Excellent at problem solving with a quick & penetrating mind with the ability to implement rapid solutions & solve root causes.
