We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector, with training provided, to join our team at Honeywell, in West Edinburgh, where you will conduct in-depth inspections on small electronic components used in radar and comms equipment, analyse data, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure compliance. This is not a full quality engineering role, but an inspection position.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern: Mondays - Thursdays 0825-1705 and Fridays 0825-1320.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of metal work and assembled projects.
- Inspection of incoming and outgoing material.
- Inspection using traditional inspection techniques for mechanical parts.
- Inspection of WIP for issues identified.
- Support Production and Engineering on Quality performance investigations.
- Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
- Lives within an easy commute to our West Edinburgh offices.
- A recent qualification, such as a degree, apprenticeship, HNC in metalwork, manufacturing or similar OR a proven record of inspection using manual inspection techniques or CMM, previous skills working within an inspection environment.
- Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
