We have an immediate opening for a Senior Consultant within our UOP business, project and process consultancy team. This specialized global team drives Business and Project Development for Oil Refining, Petrochemicals and Renewables mega projects around the world. We provide strategy, LP based configuration and project development expertise to our external and internal customers. These projects are typically multi-billion-dollar investments focused on developing new refining and petrochemical complexes, revamping existing complexes, or assessing emerging concepts like hydrogen transport technologies. You will prospect, own, drive, and develop these projects in direct contact with customers. You will be on the leading edge of technology development, market introduction, authorship and conference engagements to position Honeywell UOP as THE thought leader in the industry. Responsibilities
- The Senior Consultant will develop to perform the following functions:
- Leads configuration engagements to help customers develop their strategic investment plan and delivers them to C-level audiences.
- Supports technology licensing activities on multi-unit opportunities by developing complex wide value propositions.
- Works internally to identify value gaps in UOP’s portfolio and helps develop business cases to support R&D and M&A investment opportunities.
- Present innovative and emerging solutions at industry conferences.
Key accountabilities of this position include:
- Lead engagements with customers to develop complex processing solutions.
- Establish credibility with customers and ensure their issues are addressed in a timely fashion.
- Use refinery & petrochemicals complex LP modeling tools to develop and compare configuration options.
- Engage with UOP technology specialists to develop unique and valued solutions.
- Steward the development and execution of opportunities into technology licensing events.
- Anticipated travel up to 25% globally.
Qualifications
You must have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 15+ years’ experience in refining and/or petrochemical technologies
- Refining and/or petrochemicals configuration LP modeling which includes building and analysis experience

- Demonstrated ability to effectively drive multiple project teams and interact effectively with other internal and external groups
- Skilled at economic analysis of major capital projects and familiar with sensitivity analysis techniques like Monte-Carlo analysis
- Experience developing and justifying capital projects
