A position has opened up in Honeywell Building Automation (BA) for an ambitious Production Planning Professional. You will perform the Production Planning activities across the Southend & Electrical Products (EP) network for your assigned business or channel. You will support the Southend Site Sr. Production Planning Supervisor to execute the vision and goals for your Production Planning function. You will partner with the SBG / CORP COE and SME's to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate the full adoption of RapidResponse (RR) planning tools across your network. You will perform the monthly Production Planning process cycle for the Southend Site Sr. Production Planning Supervisor, and ensure finished goods production plans align to the Site / Network Supply Plans, achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will ensure the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize the labour and machine resources whilst achieving the business goals for cost control, productivity and working capital.

Responsibilities- Review and adjust the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Rough Cut Capacity Plans, addressing changes in demand and supply requirements.
- Manage production orders, including Pull In's and Push Out's, while identifying and resolving capacity constraints and material availability issues.
- Collaborate with Supply and Material planners, as well as Prod Marketing, to support new product introductions, promotions, and product lifecycle management.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and material master data, actively participating in standard transition processes and the SIOP cycle.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply, such as OTFP, Site Inventory, and Schedule Adherence, while deputizing for management in SIOP meetings when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in operations management, supply chain management, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply planning or operations.
- Proficiency in SAP, S&OP knowledge, and Microsoft applications, along with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; a Six Sigma Lean Expert or advanced certification (APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF) is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities; English language proficiency is preferred.
- Capability to collaborate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, prioritising tasks and delegating responsibilities as necessary.
