As a Senior Quality Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and developing quality systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with aerospace, regulatory, customer, and business requirements. The role provides technical leadership for quality assurance activities, drives robust corrective and preventive action programmes, supports customer satisfaction, and promotes operational excellence across the organisation. This is a full-time role based in Honeywell Poole Site.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of the site Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and support internal, customer, and certification audits while hosting external audits and ensuring timely closure of findings.
- Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.
- Manage customer quality concerns and lead resolution activities to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and business growth opportunities, promoting aerospace Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Coordinate quality and compliance training programs and support product safety, reliability, and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Operations Auditing, QMS, Continuous Improvement, Knowledge of ISO Standards.
- Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience, with extensive background in Aerospace or Industrial Manufacturing.
- Proven success in managing and developing Quality Management Systems (QMS), with strong customer-facing experience including 8D Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Relevant aerospace auditing experience, with Lead Auditor certification preferred; familiarity with AS9100D, AS9102, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Six Sigma Green Belt minimum, with Black Belt or Lean certification desirable, alongside knowledge of NADCAP accreditation requirements and documentation control systems.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical inspection methods, calibration systems, quality assurance processes, and familiarity with SAP and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Demonstrable leadership and team development skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis, support continuous improvement, and communicate effectively with stakeholders while managing multiple priorities.
