As a Fire Engineer at Honeywell, in Scotland, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, design, install, commissioning, and effective repair to all Installed Fire products on customer sites in our Scotland Region. This is a field-based role with the requirement of an on-call rota of one week in seven.

Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults on a variety of Honeywell and 3rd party equipment.

  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide prices for Small Works Quotes.
  • Prepare the drawings and application projects specifically for Small Works Quotes.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients whilst delivering a valuable and professional service.
  • Report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement.

Previous work experience servicing Fire system and Security or access entry and intruder systems would be an advantage.

Fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with programming skills.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with customers through the use of good communication skills.

Previous Honeywell product knowledge such as GENT would be advantageous along with FIA units 1 and 2 minimum of BS5839 part 1, training can be provided.

Valid full driving licence.
