We have an opportunity for a BMS Project Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in North East and surrounding areas, where you will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions that optimize building performance and energy efficiency. This is a field-based role travelling across the region and occasionally further as required.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with the input of various key internal and external stakeholders, including ownership of any subcontract designs (e.g. Panels).
- Implementing and completing the design of projects with the customer using skills and knowledge within BMS & control systems, HVAC control, integration, and applications.
- Work closely with the Project Manager assisting with the production and coordination of the engineering/design submittal to include Equipment Schedule & Schematics, I/O data point List, Device/Wiring Layout Drawings and Installation/Commissioning.
- Development and submittal of both FAT and SAT documentation, to customer approval.
- Compiling of Training Handover Documentation for each project.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based projects ideally within Building Management Systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment with a strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft office products.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and projects site as part of the role.
