Description
As an Airport BMS Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing Building Management System (BMS) projects.
You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions that optimize building performance and energy efficiency.
Your expertise in controls engineering and project management will ensure the successful implementation of BMS projects, meeting customer expectations and delivering high-quality solutions.
You will report directly to our Project Manager and you'll work out of our southern UK aviation customer sites predominantly and covering other customers within the region.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on improving building performance and energy efficiency through the implementation of advanced BMS solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving Honeywell's reputation as a leader in building automation.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers during and after project implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BMS technology to continuously improve project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls and experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Professional certifications in controls engineering and experience with Honeywell BMS products and solutions would be preferable
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to building automation.
- Full UK Compliance will be required for this role.
