We have a vacancy for a warehouse operative within the Goods In team at Ellesmere Port on an on‑site work schedule. The role reports to our Lead Logistics Associate and is part of a flexible team in the Goods in department, ensuring all operators are fully conversant with the MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and storage solution. You will mainly work with a reach/Counterbalance MHE. This vacancy is for a fixed shift pattern of 06:00‑14:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirmation of all TO’s in and out of Goods in storage using Voice Applications.
- Support all Goods in functions at request.
- Adherence to Company and legislative Health and Safety requirements in all work processes.
- Adherence to Standard Operating Sheets.
- Support warehouse team to deliver to internal external customer schedule.
- Safe operation of all types of MHE operated on site.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in a similar role within warehouse operations, logistics or MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
- HNC level 3 or HND.
- Good working Knowledge of SAP & Voice Applications.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team & ability to coach when needed.
- Self‑motivation, pro‑activeness and drive.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels using a variety of methods / tools.
