We have an opportunity for a Gas Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in the UK, where you will be responsible for working on the maintenance of predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites, servicing, planned preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting/investigating customer issues. Honeywell Industrial Automation enables our customers to run safer and more efficient operations. From refineries to distribution centers to retail stores, we help deliver results while improving worker safety and meeting sustainability goals such as reduced carbon emissions β by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, process automation, and asset performance management solutions.
Key requirements:
- Manage the annual servicing of the facility including condition-based servicing & Planned Preventative Maintenance and submit full reports of the job.
- Test the Grid Entry Unit, ensuring they are safe and functioning well before signing off, provide hands-on training and knowledge to new users/operators.
- Investigate issues to identify faults and perform system analysis β carry out replacements as needed.
- Engage with clients to understand issues, make observations, suggest improvements, and make recommendations.
- Meet customersβ needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience within industrial servicing or control systems.
- Solid analytical/problem-solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Gas industry experience or HND/HNC level qualifications; experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous.
- Good team player with a willingness to learn.
