Job Description
Job title: Apprentice Field Service Technician
Role Type: Apprenticeship for veterans only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
As a Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, commissioning, and fault-finding at customer sites, whilst ensuring alignment with the business requirements that address our customers\’ needs.
This is role will be a hybrid role, working a mix of days from customer sites, Honeywell offices and from home.
This role is part of our early careers program, designed to help people launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.
This apprenticeship is set up for 3 years starting from September 2025.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to our Service Quality and Management Systems.
- Reduce unproductive time by consistently organizing and monitoring workloads in collaboration with our service management systems and/or Field Service Leader.
- Complete additional tasks or projects within designated business timelines while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Aim to achieve all business service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including maintenance backlog, real-time working, open work orders, and the timely delivery of projects and/or small works.
- Assess pricing and deliver any necessary additional maintenance, small works, or projects as required and provide accurately completed documentation within the established timeframes.
- Act as the primary point of escalation when issues arise at customer sites.

- Experience in electronic or electrical work / qualifications
- A person who enjoys tackling challenges, solving puzzles, and diagnosing issues.
