As a Field Service Engineer - BMS at Honeywell, in Bracknell and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive calls, and out of hours support to customers on their BMS. This is a field based role with travel expected to customer sites in and around London and occasionally further afield as required.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and interrogate Honeywell BMS controllers and field control systems
- Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
- Modify and interrogate BMS software programs, strategies and systems
- Continually ensure all energy saving measures for all building services are monitored and modified accordingly
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems
- Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus
- A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments
- Ability to troubleshoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively
- Great communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships
