Honeywell Aerospace Yeovil is seeking a Systems Project Engineer to join their ECS Systems Engineering team. The role involves the design and development of aircraft bleed air management systems, including turbomachinery, electro-mechanical valves, heat exchangers, and electronic controls. The Systems Project Engineer will oversee the complete product lifecycle, from system concept to in-service support, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system compliance with customer documentation.
- Manage system requirements and design, including allocation to components.
- Support system testing and interpret results.
- Report on system development status to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with programme management, engineering, manufacturing, and customers.
- Utilize project management tools and work independently or within teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and air management systems.
- Experience with VCS technology is a plus.
- Strong engineering practices and design experience.
