We have an opportunity for a Fire and Security Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Scotland, where you will be responsible for ensuring optimal operations at client sites across the Scotland region, working on both security and fire systems on customer sites with a focus on delivering top-quality service and enhancing customer satisfaction. This is a field-based role with travel across customer sites across the region (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee) with a focus on a large customer site in Glasgow.
Responsibilities
- Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults on a variety of Honeywell and 3rd party equipment.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide prices for Small Works Quotes.
- Prepare the drawings and application projects specifically for Small Works Quotes.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients whilst delivering a valuable and professional service.
- Report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience in the fire and security industry, with knowledge of fire systems from various manufacturers, Access Control, Intruder Systems, and IP CCTV.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with programming skills.
- A good understanding of software strategies and system integration knowledge, ideally with familiarity in Honeywell’s Building Integrator Front End – Honeywell EBI.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with customers through the use of good communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
